Well, If you've checked for mites and haven't found them and he seems healthy for the most part. I'd say he could be developing something internally (Like a RI) or hes shedding and need more humidity.
What I'd do is up his hot spot to 90 degrees or so just in case he is developing a respitor infection, and then I'd keep an eye out for shedding signs or signs that he's sick. If he's sick take him straight to a herp vet, and if he sheds then next time spray down his cage with a water bottle daily around shedding time to help with the humidity.
