What time of day is it recomended to feed my baby tortiose ?
How often ? ( once or twice a day ? )

I keep bearded dragons too I feed them about 2 hours after lights on , would this be ok for my baby tortiose ? or is afternoon/evening better ?

Early morning or late afternoon is when most tortoises forrage so I would guess that is the best time if you have to set a time.
As to feeding schedule, I would suggest once a day as much as they can eat in one sitting. If you are feeding greens and weeds, I just leave them in the enclosure until it is gone.

I will feed him/just once a day then
He is such a sweetheart

( yeah I was planing on feeding him greens & weeds , That is what the
breeder said he was used to )

The other point I can never stress enough is heat and hydration. I believe this is the no. 1 killer of little guys/gals in the first year.
Even for the Mediterranian species I suggest a range of 75 to 95 to give the animal a maximum choice for thermal regulation in addition to a moist hide. Add to this, daily soakings, or at least every other day, along with a varied diet and I'll bet it grows into a real nice tortoise.

Thanks again ED . I am gonna give him a little soak later today , just a warm shallow bath yes ? Do I wet the top of
him like dripping a few little drips of water over his shell ?
