The reason I was so worried about humidity is because 3 months ago I purchased a jungle stripeline boa, that was supposed to be a male an turned out to be a female, being this is genetic Ill have my male one day!Anyway she ate when I got her then went into shed stage an could not shed on her own it was bad very bad,So bad that it stripped her scale coloring! She was like ice even though her temp was where it needed to be!2 days later she started warming up after a long drink at her water bowl!2 weeks later she went into shed stage again!Same thing she couldnt shed an her scales again were loosing their color! No vets knew what the problem was where I lived! So I started soaking her for 20 minutes every night,She still couldn't shed,I asked for help an got no responce,Hence my comments from last night! An I fully appologize! So I called the Nashville Zoo an spoke to their snake keeper an found out that she was dehydrated bad an to be this way it had been going on for a long time!An it took a 3 hour soak but she shed with help an had her coloration except on the head!3 months later shes pounding large rats every 7 days an last week she shed on her own for the first time without any help from me!HORRAY!But because of that episode an not getting any help other than the zoo, thats why I got angry!!Here is a pic of the little guy thats sick,He dont seem to be blowing bubbles this morning,so I gueess the batrill an humidifier are doing the trick! Thanks again for all that have tried to help! Thanks Charles![hypoboa]Sorry dont know how to post pic!
