Watch here feces, which should occure ever 7-10 days. If more than 1/2 mouse, then it is too much. Less than 1/6 to little. Some breeders I know feed every eight days. Adjust accordingly.

Also remember that baby's like to taste things, like you. They get over this at about a year old. So keep her healthy (have an OVA and parasite test done) and the bite will be clean. I wash bites with providone iodine.

Spend time with her and put something that smells like you in her cage so that she will know you. And give here a hid box.

It's all worth it when she wants to be on or aroound you and no where else.

Your on the right track! One mouse or rat pup every 7 days is perfect! An as far as size of the prey goes, just look at the center of her an make the prey item a little bigger than her center, not much though!Well good luck an enjoy her! Thanks Hypoboa!

What size mouse are you feeding? I used Hopper mice until my boa hit about 20 inches because they seemed a closer fit to the girth of my boa. After she hit 20 inches though, I moved up to adult mice.

It's important to establish a good feeding schedule, so every Monday is good if that works for you. One feeding a week, no more.
