03svtcobra Apr 13, 2004 03:06 PM

i use paper towels as a substrate for my female brb. i am looking to change it up. i keep reading that astroturf is a good substarte because it holds moisture well and is easy to clean up..... can anyone help me out?

also i am buying a male brb from pm herps on sunday at the ny reptile show... when both are full grown.. is a 75 gallon tank big enough for both of them?>

. There are quite a few different products that we know as astroturf. I used to use several different ones and did not like any of them. They are difficult to get completely clean and will eventually begin to smell.
. Paul sells some really great BRBs. A 75 gallon tank will be large enough for a pair of adults but you will probably have to do something to the screen top so that it does not let all of the moisture escape from the tank.
Good Luck,
Jeff
