Turning kinda dark means stress or what ??

jerzreptile21 Apr 13, 2004 04:10 PM

I have two adults in a 20 long.Male and female..Sometimes i find the male which is a hypo kinda dark..Looking like he's dirty,i thought it was the vermiculite i had in their humid box.But i switched to wet papertowels for a week and found out it wasnt. The female sometimes gets like this to.Does this mean stress ? And if yes how can i make it better for them without movin them out the tank.Cuz i really dont have anyywhere to put them. They have a dish for mealworms, calcium and water.4 hide spots includin the hmuid bnox and a basking spot.Wit background paper i know its not the way i got it setup.I would love that tank is i was a gecko.

Hi

Check the temperature in the basking end of the tank to make sure it is warm enough, it should be 88 degrees on that side of the tank.

Do there stools look normal?, are they eating good?.
