Thanks, I thought I was the only one who had V. dumerilii there for a while. This is the most under-rated monitor in the herp world!

Awesome pics, I am very close to getting a dumerils and seeing more and more pictures of them is just too much! I can not wait!

I'll have to have another photo shoot and post more pics, I do have a second Dum. that's a little larger.
I love these guys, I know everyone feels pasionate about their favorite monitor, but these guys are a joy to work with.

Acually to me anoles are more aggressive (towards each other)& more efficent predators then varanus. I used to keep these & I acually watch the hunting techniques of both families. on average anoles catch invertabrates faster then odiatra species at least the ones I've kept. I'll be getting back into anolis when I have the chance. I want some A.garmani
