drummagirl Apr 13, 2004 06:10 PM

These are some shots i took a few weeks ago when we had some beautiful weather come through

This is the female that i've posted pics of before. She was a bit cranky when we first got outside

I think she's pretending to be a rattler, lol

and just a little bit closer.....

now that we're calmed down a bit,i really love how light her head gets. Every shed she just keeps getting lighter

gotta love the tongue shot!

and if you've stayed awake this long ...here is a pic of the female borneo i got from the fall KC expo. she's put on a bit of weight

whew...made it to the end thanks for looking! questions/comments welcomed!

Hey Carol,
Very nice looking Blood. The close up photos, look like she has two eyes in some of them. It is the scale just above the preocular, I think it is one of the prefrontals. LOL!

The Borneo, reminds me of a Sarawak. It is the pattern that reminds me of a Sarawak, the most. Bob Garby, had some babies for sale, a while back that looked like that one does. Gorgeous!

lol, i hadn't even noticed the 'double eye' until you mentioned it! When i went back and looked to see what you were talking about i didn't know how i ever missed that!

dangit, now i've got to go look up some info on sarawaks. poor me.hehehe. I've heard some pretty good things about the sarawaks, word seems to be that they have excellent personalities.

thanks for the kind words, have a good one

Hey Kara,
Where've you been girl, missed you here. And speaking of Sarawak's, what is happening with your trio, and Mr. Macho? Take care, and hope you are doing well.

Just staying EXTREMELY busy...prepping for the upcoming move into our new place...Sarawak was due Saturday...she's holding out for good measure & driving me INSANE in the mean time. Gotta love first-time moms.

Macho is FANTABULOUS!!!! I love him to death - he eats EVERYTHING in sight, including my hands if I'm not particularly careful.

Here are some pics of my newest babies...yeah, I know they're not snakes, but man, they're CUTE!!!

Hope you're doing well!

Hey Kara,
That is fantastic, and great news. I am so glad you got the little fellow to pull through. He's always been a glutton (Macho, is a black blood male). You have to post pictures of him sometime when you have some. Also, the Mallards or Wood ducks - I'm guessing of course, are so darn cute. Where did you get these guys. It looks like you have a few of them in the picture. And the Sarawak's! So you might be a grandma sooner than you hoped you'd be, well, not quite, but you know what I mean. LOL! At any rate, I am really glad to hear from you and that things are going well. Thanks for posting and writing back. Take care - Angel

Hi Kara,
Oddly, where did you get your Sarawaks from? Just curious so we can determine the existing bloodlines out there.

The ducks are cute. First critter I hatched out myself in fact. I think it was 4th grade as part of a hatch and release program with the IL-DNR.

that's weird, i can't see them any more either! :S Guess i should give in and just pay the money for a larger kingsnake photo account. grrr, i'll see if i can get them back up

lol, yes, us females are few and far between aren't we? I think females are even scarcer once you start dealing with the larger pythons. Such a shame.... :P

hehe I guess they see the big snakes and start running, as for the pics its probably a problem with your host.. you can always just make them a little smaller and delete some old pics in your collection, thats what I've been doing when I want to post pics.
