For those of you that breed mice for snake food, how do you kill the mice?

I am interested in starting to breed mice and I wanted to know what the most effecient and humane way is to kill mice without using chemicals so that it would be safe for my snake to eat.

well.......I only have to kill but about 5 or 6 a week (somtimes more) so I just grab the tail and wack them on a desk. ( I know it sounds cruel but its fast.

If you want to kill large numbers use CO2 fast and easy

You can get CO2 at a welding supply place or some place like airgas

Just kill`em and be done with it IMO.
Save the sensitive stuff for a pet that doesnt eat other critters.
Plants make good pets I hear,better then rocks anyway LOL!!

You might try the feeder and food forum too....this topic is rehashed numerous times.
