Digestion problem, please help

savvgawd Apr 13, 2004 07:13 PM

I made the mistake of leaving some turkey diet in a small paper cup inside my boscs tank, i thought he had just thrown the cup inside his hide with him but i was wrong(the cup is aobut an inch in diameter, maybe an inch tall also). A day after i took him to the vet along with my other monitor for check up, he was good and healthy but i did not ask about the paper cup because i did not yet know. Today i put him in a tank with crickets and he didnt react. His belly feels extremely full but its not like him to not react to any type of food, im very worried so any HELPFUL responses would be appreciated.......

A paper cup, I would not worry too much. It will more than likely just break down with the acid and digestive enzymes in his/her stomach. Use either a brick (like I do) or a plastic can dog food lid next time. I hope this helps.
