Snapped this one tonight. What do you think? Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 995.

I got some of them at Target and some at the PX. Try places like Target in the gardening section. They're saucers for plant pots and they're glazed on the inside. They usually run about $0.40-$0.70 a piece, depending on the size. You can also try Home Depot, Lowes, etc. You shouldn't have too much trouble this time of year finding them, everyone is planting now.

Good luck

I use those type of dishes as well, smaller ones for calcium and the larger ones for mealworms. The only problem is that my mealies could escape the bowl. I believe you said yours were glazed.......that must be why. Mine are not. Thankyou for the post, i had totally switched dishes, now i can use those again (i really do like them), i'll just get the glazed ones

Nice picture! What kind of Camera?

Rob Jenkins Jun 14, 2003 09:56 PM

The Nikon Coolpix are a great line of digital camera. This is one of the split swivel lens ones. There have been 2 or 3 newer of these released since I bought mine, so you should be able to get one of these around $400 or less online at ebay or somewhere. You can't go wrong with the macro these can do. Some of the Sony's are real nice as well; just stay away from the Mavicas that use floppy disks. If you're in the market, check out Digital Photo Review. They have awesome forums and info on just about every camera out there.
