my bf got bitten by our baby corn snake and she managed to draw blood. Is there some sort of shot that he should get so he doesn't get a crazy reptile disease?

There are very few diseases that reptiles carry that could be transmitted from a bite. Wash the bite with soap and water, apply neosporin or some other antibiotic ointment and he'll be fine. Basically treat it like any other cut or scrape.

I agree, don't worry about it. There is no "mad snake" disease
So a bandaid and a popsicle should be fine

a week or so ago my corn wasn't in the best of moods when i went to pick him up out of his hide and he got a little defensive and gave me a little nip. my girlfriend says i screamed like a little girl, until i realized that it really didn't hurt at all. (though of course i totally deny that account.) a little embarrassing, sure, but we had a good laugh out of it. he didn't draw blood or anything, and he was as calm as ever a couple minutes after. i never got a popcicle though... not fair.

As a pediatric MA and daycare teacher, I learned real young that a popsicle heals EVERYTHING! lol We better teach your girlfriend the value of a popsicle for those "girlie screaming" moments.
