I know you're not soppoused to hold fbt but can you at least let them crawl into your hand and keep your hand in the tank? im ten and not really sure.

i would image occasional gentle handeling would not be to bad for your lil' green buddy, mabey put on a disposable glove or something to protect his skin from soap residue and stuff like that on your skin.

And wash your hands with soap afterward to protect yourself from it's secretions/bacteria etc.
