This thing is for 6 beardies in the desert south west. Hopefully I will be able to make 2 more of these. At $250 a pop they are not exactly cheap for me anyways. Let me know what you all think.

I am planning to build an enclosure outside, and after all the research i have done, i have some suggestions for your futures cages.
* Don't use the metal for sides like that. The light will reflect and have a chance to bake your Beardies to death.
* Use a mesh like window screen for the sides, making sure you bury the bottom around a foot deep to keep anything from going in or out of your cage.
* Enclose the whole top. This will keep any poisonous insects to your beardies from getting in. I dont know if you have fireflys down there, but it only takes one to kill an adult dragon.
* You shouldnt need to provide a basking lamp during the day. Purchase a moon bulb if the temp. gets below 70 degrees.
* Provide an area of shade and comfort for your dragons if they get too hot.
* I am also planning on putting a little pool in the cage so they can be able to cool off if they were to start to get uncomfortable.
Tell us more about it, what are the materials used, dimentions, how do you get in and out, inside pics, substerate, cleaning...
Cant tell much from the photo. What did you make the walls from? if that is the plastic sheeting they sell at home depot type places, I wish you better luck than I had with it. It gets brittle fast and doesn't hold up long under the sun.
Have you given thought to getting in and out every day, several times a day? I built my first pens low like yours. It was such a pain working with the covering, I built the second one as a walk in. I am going to convert the first one at some point soon.
This is my Tegu pen. It is 16'x32'made from PVC horse paddock fence and hardware cloth/chicken wire. I am planning on one for the BDs next. Not sure about size yet. I have to do some experimenting afirst since I was told the humidity here in S Fl can cause fungus problems.

My K-9s were jelous and wanted to get some fame so here are some of them.
