my crested ate a piece of bark last night. i tried pulling it out his mouth with tweezers but he pulled away and swallowed the bark with a cricket. he seemed to choke alittle but got it down. now i am worried that he wont be able to poop it out. he is a few months old. about 4 inches long. last week he ate one and pooped it out on the glass. it wasnt really big though. well for his butt it was. all night he jsut sat in the same spot, maybe moved twice. i took out the bark and put paper towel down so i can tell if he poops it out. does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do to help him so he wont get constipated and die or something. any help is appreciated. thank you. peace

You're just going to have to wait it out. I wouldn't worry too much, but now you know why paper substrate is recommended. If you haven't already made the decision to use paper towels or newspaper as a substrate from now on, I would strongly recommend doing so.

If you absolutely must use some kind of "naturalistic" substrate, I would use soil or shredded coconut husk.
