I need your opinion

I am moving across the country and am driving. It will take about 5-7 days. I have an adult corn snake and a sand boa. Will they be okay if I just keep them in well-ventilated rubbermaid containers and be sure they don't get too hot, or should I find them new homes before I leave? Thanks for your help.
