Hey everyone,
I just have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer. This past Saturday I bought my first blood python, he's a male borneo short tailed. The breeder said he was about 6 months old (he's about 21" long). He's a great snake with an awesome personality. I just have some questions on my set up though. Right now he's in a rubbermaid container with two hide boxes (one in each temp. gradient) and a water dish. One end of the cage is about 85 F and the other is around 80 F, the humidity is about 74%(should I bring that down some?). I's using the puppy wee wee pads as substrate to help hold the humidty and I have an undertank heater on the bottom. The breeder told me that last time he ate was last wednesday, so I fed him two juvinile mice today and he ate them perfecty.
How do things sound...is there anything that should be changed?
thanks so much for your help!

I'm not familiar with "wee wee" pads but most people seem to be using paper towels on younger ones and newspaper for adults, also make sure you post enough holes in the rubbermaid to get proper ventalation all that humid air can harbor lots of bacteria.
