finally found a black pine...

after searching classifieds for well over a year, i found a guy with some nice 03 BLACK pines. cant wait to see this girl in person, she certainly is an irridescent black beauty.

finding a black pine in the wild would probably take me a couple years. i have never herped for pituohpis, and i hear that the pines are especially hard to find and are usually encountered by luck.

A very attractive snake for sure. Are they known for being docile? I want one too.

most WC are a handleful, but now most you see are CB. at first they are jumpy and hissy, but they quickly calm to being as tame as my kings, but with that ever-present hiss. the hissing is a good indicator of how they feel. they tend to move more when handled, but arent wriggly like some snakes. they are very intelligent, and can definatly recognize their keeper. they get big, and are very grithy and make for VERY impressive snakes.

still, a big eastern king is always an awesome snake too
