Garden sprayer for dart misting?

leif Apr 14, 2004 05:05 PM

Hi!

I would like to use a 2 Gallon garden sprayer to mist my darts. I'ts the kind you get a Home Depot or Wal Mart that is used to apply pesticides/fertilizers etc. to plants. Obviously I don't want to use one that has been used with chemicals before, but would a fresh off the shelf one be OK? Has anyone had used these sprayers on their darts before?

Thanks!

I use a one gallon sprayer that i got from Lowes. It doesn't produce a very fine mist. My darts do not seem to mind the bigger drops from the sprayer anymore than they minded the fine spray from the hand mister that i used before. Plus the feature i like about the bigger sprayer is that you don't have to refill it as often.

Just my opinion,
Seth

these are excellent for dart misting. the mist is adjustable to be very fine. i use the RL FLOMASTER HOME&GARDEN SPRAYER. MODEL NO.1998 to be exact. heh. just get the most affordable one.

I have been using one for a while now. Just until I get the Rainmaker1 up and going. When I first used it, the next day I woke up to find that my Lorenzes laid their first clutch "for me". The were a proven pair when I got them just "my" first clutch. I got mine at Kmart for $6.
