It is Tarentola mauritanica. I don't know what subspecies though. I remember you wanted me to post pics of "house gecko" species....I think I posted pics of Hemidactylus mabouia and Cosymbotus platyurus. Here is a female Gehyra mutilata. In the "house gecko mixes," they probably make up less than 10%.

Yeah definetly a terentola. His spikes and overall shape is just too different from any bibron's that I've seen.

hes definnetly a croc gecko.he is so spiky its easy to tell.he also has no obvious white spots on his back as bibrons do.

Yes, you´re right. From that pic its definitely a Tarentola.
But very spiny. So I am not sure about the exact species.
Maybe its a T. deserti maybe just the egypt variant of mauritanica...I do not dare to say more.
Sorry for the confusion. On the old Pic it really looked like Pachydactylus.
