I believe that the average in the wild is 10 years.
In captivity, it used to be 10-15 but from what I've seen over the years captive lifespans are increasing as our knowledge grows. 15 is still a good age, but 20 isn't uncommon these days.
I have a 16 year old that's so lively and together, you wouldn't be able to tell him from a 5 year old - there's life in the old "dog" yet!

......depends on snake...environment......food....male female?...overbred females will die faster.......

others here at 12....14.........
