I'm really starting to get into herping, and sence i have a new awesome digital camera, and new SLR 35mm cam, i thought i would ask a few of you guys where are the best locations to start at? I live about 15 miles outside of baton rouge. in ibervile parish....

is there any specific locations that any of you know of that has a good amount of reptiles.. "i'm mainly looking for snakes"..

or should i just start in my own location?
