I currently have a 10 foot burmese python, and two red tail boas, I was looking on some local animal rescue websites because I've been looking to rescue another burm when I saw something that just killed me inside. I saw a set of three SKINNY leopard geckos that need a good home, I'm just 16 but I'm already addicted to reptiles and couldn't help myself I knew I just had to have these guys. Its a set of one male and two females and they are gonna come with their whole setup, but I have an open tank just incase theirs isn't big enough. I've read that they don't need UV lights so what do you use to heat their tanks, an under the tank heating pad or a regular light? Will a diet of mealworms and cricket work? Do I have to cover them in calcium powder if I have a seperate dish of it in the tank with them? Some places I read you feed them every day and others I read every other day so which is it? Also what is the best kind of substrate to use? Sorry the post is so long but I'm really looking forward to getting these guys and wanna know everything I can.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Katy
