What's the deal with the Axanthic Project?

bigschtick25 Jun 14, 2003 12:06 AM

I was wondering what everybody's view is on Axanthics. Do people not think they have potential or is it just the wrong time of the year to try and sell one? Especially a female.
And what is everybody's POV on the different lines. Jolliff, SK, and VPI? Please let me know. Thanks
Greg

Sorry, I don't know what the heck else I was trying to do when I wrote this. I apparently tried to condense two questions down to one What I meant to say was: Have you seen the snow ball? Can you imagine what the true ghosts will look like?

The Axanthics are the "key" in many peoples views for generating new morphs. They are essential to make a snowball ball python. Check out Ralph Davis's site or VPI or Ballpython.com to check out the snow...awesome...and only a few have been produced. If you have an axanthic...I would keep it!!

I have a het pair of SK line axanthics, and hoping for eggs this year, but definately next year. The axanthics have really dropped in price in the last year or year and a half. Now would be the time to buy one, you could probably get a great deal. Like pastels, I think there are stunning, down to just ok individual animals in every axanthic line. I personally am going to put aside animals in my collection for the true ghost, snow and caramel albino snow project.

That's what I thought, Axanthics are friggin' awesome. We have been trying to clear our shelves of axanthics and hets from the SnakeKeeper line and nobody bites on them. I personally think they ARE the key to so many different mutations to come. Any more input would be appreciated....thanks guys

I would love to have an Axanthic. I don't want to breed them, I just love the coloring! Do you have any available now?

thanks

Well guys the truth is that Axanthics (every strain) is going to be huge very soon. There are double het projects in the works as we speak that are going to blow your minds. Axanthics stripes, clowns, spiders, true ghosts are going to make people cry because they are going to be so gorgeous. Then maybe some of you will appreciate an axanthic for the animal of true greys and silvers. Another thing is that many people have never seen one of these animals in person, they really need to be held and seen with two eyes to take in the colors of these animals . Anyways the axanthics have been given a bad name in some aspects because there are many people out there claiming to be selling axanthics that are unproven. Three lines, Jolliff, VPI, and Sk. There are two more lines which I'm almost positive are proven as well but ill let those two guys let them disclose that information. Don't be left behind, Axanthics are still and if anything more then ever a key to the future. Snowballs are cool dont get me wrong but some things that the axanthics are going to be producing might be illegal in some states theyll be so cool.
