Well, since lately we've all been off topic, I've wanted to post my observations for a while, and now is a good time.
1) I've noticed topics come and go in waves. For a few days it will be about behavior and handling, then next few eggs, then health etc. Found that to be pretty cool.
2) Fighting/Peace. Right now we are in a stage of peace. The other site is fighting, they tend to switch off, with more fighting here. The little bickering is kinda funny, but gets a bit extreme at times, and if you're not in it, you are totally lost.
3) This forum is definatly turning into a classified section, or a bar, or dating scene. All the pictures and screen name swapping, wow, its like I'm on blind date.
4) Conversations. Long conversations start and end randomly, usually ending is expert advice from Marica.
5) Heirarchy. Although we may not notice it, we have a scope of whose in charge, To me, it would seem as if Marica is the top dog... or lizard in this case. Behind her would be Robin, TLC, and the others who have been herping leos for a while and know their stuff. Then comes other people, who ready the posts like the Bible, post sometimes to give/get advice, but mainly keep a low profile. Then theres those people that are new, that we sometimes don't give credit to, and disregard, but we all had to start somewhere. Then there's the outsiders, like the people who start fights and loose, and get scared away. Havent heard fro LeopardKing or whathave you that happened earlier in the year.
There is probably other stuff I will remember tonight and be frusterated for not saying, and I will probably regret posting this, but with everything off topic, I found this to be an oppurtune moment to post my 'field observations'.
