i have always read that lizards will come back if they are cold or hungry or they will be somewhere to make them warm. do you know of any warm places in your house? are you sure he got out? sometimes my lizards will bury themselves in the sand under their rocks to drive me crazy and make me worry. good luck finding him. maybe you could make a warm spot out of a heating pad or a heat rock and make it feel like a safe spot, covered with something arched like a log half because they will get too hot if you cover the heat pads or rock and it could hurt the lizard. someone else probably has a better idea but maybe you could start here till they post

Be very careful when moving things, looking for him.
I would say this, where ever he got out, set up a light on the floor with a rock of his, or something he can bask on.
May look crazy, but it works alot of the time.
He will wake cold as usual, but will look for light and heat, this sometimes helps to lure them out !
Another important thing is to LISTEN very well, for any scuffling around or jumping, tomorrow after he wakes.
I dont know where he got out, but if there is any pussy cats or anything that would harm him while hes on the loose, put them somewhere else for the time being !
Geesh, I hope you find him, happened to me a long time ago, and I was a wreck until I found her. Wish ya a ton of luck !
Let us know if you find him !
