Gecko and agility

Mizar 21 Apr 14, 2004 09:32 PM

My gecko is about 4 inch (juvie or baby? how old can he be ?) and sometimes when he run after some crix, he slide and fell (i'm using slate), when he jump at them he miss from time to time...Once he was so excited in his hunt that he fell on his back ( right back on his leg in a quarter of a second ) Is this normal or do i get a clumsy one...

As for age...hard to tell. Ive had some geckos grow extremely fast, and some grow extremely slow, and then inbetween.

And for the cricket question, yes, its normal, lol. Just break the back legs off and he should get em

Oh, dont worry he do get them ! All. I drop them one by one in his enclosure he catch them almost immediately. Some do get away, he dont chase them right away, but when i stop giving him crix , the chase for the escape begin...lol and he do get them, lol .

Hi

This is my opinion, but I would say that your gecko is about two to two and a half weeks old. Definitely a baby.

I think you do great, since you said english isn't your first language. What is your first language?.

Take Care, TLB

p.s. - Have fun with your new little baby.
