Breeding ball pythons

PetMania Apr 15, 2004 07:13 AM

I hear everyone talking about early and late babies. When is the prime month to put the female in with the male. When should you start the cool down period. I am new to this and realy need help.

The Dr. Seward's video is a great source of information.

It is sort of late in the year to start breeding since most keepers use the natural changes in their house temperatures that are caused by the seasons to simulate ball python breeding season. But it is possible to breed ball pythons at just about any time of the year since you control their environments......I just think it is easier when you work with the weather and seasons rather than against them.
Hope this helps,
Joe
