hi there everyone..ive just built a 4ft by 2ft by 2ft viv..is it ok to just vent the back panel at top all the way along say 3 inch thick strip...or should i vent top..or a square vent at each end of back???????????thanks for help

Venting the top gives more air flow then the back. If you have an overheating issue then vent the top. A lot of variables mostly to do with temps outside the cage and airflow. My advice is set up the cage with back vents then test the temps for several days at different times. Raise or lower the basking spot as well as changing wattage on the bulb untill you get it right

My suggestion: Cut two 3" (I think) holes in the bottom of the rear and two at the top. Cagesbydesign.com sells their vent covers as accessories, which are 3" I think (better make sure and check). That is what I have done and it looks and works great. (Hot air rising will pull in room air through the bottom vents.)
if i put a vent down low does that creat a higher humidity???as i know i was told that for water dragons..and beardys like low humidity
