ventalation please help

hi ive just finished 4ft by 2ft by 2ft viv for beardys cant go any further to i do ventilation..would it be ok to vent the whole back panel at top say 3 inches right along..or should i do likle a 4 inch by 4 inch vent on back at each end..or should i vent both ends on lid..please please help im ready to do this and sitting waiting info..thanks

i only want to vent either back panel or roof not both?should i vent bottom back panel also?ive read i should then that i shouldnt

I would place a few of them along the back of cage. This is a picture of my 4x2x2 and the side vents I use. I got them at home depot in the plumbing section. I placed them in the middle because i need more humidity, The higher the vent the less humidity you will have. Beardies need hot wright?? you might also want to add a vent fan so it does not get to hot in there. you can get those at radio shack, they are little computor fans. id put it on a thermostat so if it got to hot in there it would lower your air temp and not your basking temp. For photos of this Pro Exotics has some on there hila monster cages and Goanna Ranch has them on there monitor troughs. Just a idea, good luck. ---Eric---
