When to worry?

My son's 1 year old beardie hasn't been eating well for the past few days. He is currently in a 40 gallon tank that is lined with shelf paper. His temps and lighting are correct. We moved his tank to another location about a week ago since we were painting my son's room and didn't think it would be good for him to be in with all of those paint fumes. He has pellets in his tank at all times, and he is given his veggie mixture every morning. We feed him crickets every day in another container, which is where he also gets a bath every other day. His activity level seems normal, he just doesn't want ot eat his crickets. If he is eating his pellets and veggies, its not much. He hasn't shed lately. Any advice would be great.

You could start by taking a fecal sample to the vet, they don't make you bring the beardie in unless they find something wrong. My vet only chanrges 15 dollars to check for parasites. He could have picked up a parasite from the crickets. Sometimes just moving the tank can put them off of their food, they don't like change very much.

A movement to a new location will almost always trigger some sort of reaction, usually with food. After a while he'll get hungry again. Just keep him in fluids and he should be fine.
