Do you have any pictures on the PE website of the uromastyx bins or enclosures??? We were thinking of using big rubbermaids...what size would be a minimum...and what would be ideal?

Also...will the uros dig themselves burrows or should we help them out and make a couple?

as i have posted recently, i find the bigger the better for Uro setups, especially with a group of animals.

for just one or two Ornates, you could use a 4 ft cage as a minimum. all of our lizard caging is built around the metal horse troughs, using different sizes, and custom lids or built-arounds. you could also use the Rubbermaid troughs...

you can see pics on our site in facility pics, and monitor pics.

just about any pic of a soil-filled monitor cage would do, as in the large 10 ft setups, we have moved out Ionides monitors and simply dropped the 5 Uros right in, and then they proceeded to burrow off of the Ionides burrows. the Uro setups are just about identical to the monitor setups
