peat moss question ...please?

do any of you guys use peat moss in with the mixsture of your substrate in your cages and if you do how do you like it

I mix it in with playgroung sand in my water dragon cage, it makes a mess. When your lizard is wet, it will stich to him for a while! It also floates and makes the water always look nasty. That is just my experience though, when it is time to replace my sustrate, I woun't use it again. It might not be so bad with a tegu 'cause they don't spend all that much time in the water, well, mine doesn't. There is better stuff out there. Again, just my oppinion.
