K heres the question mi leo started eaten a week ago and the first day in that week he ate 5 crix then the next day he ate 3 wax worms, then the 2 days later he ate 2 waxies and same the next day, and today he ate 1 cricket so im worried all he'll eat is waxies and their not real healthy so does any1 know how to help me. he seems to like worm things more than crix. and o yea i wont raise mealies they smell soooooooo bad.

If you don't want him to eat waxworms don't feed them to him. Keep trying crickets and he will eat them when he is hungry enough. How old is your gecko? If he is an adult then you could try superworms or silkworms as well, both of those offer great nutrition for your leo.

This has happened to me. I fed him too many waxies, and he got spoiled and wouldn't eat crickets.

What to do? Always have a few crickets in there. When he gets hungry, he'll eat. It fixed my problem. Nothing to worry about. Don't worry about starvation.

He really like waxies huh? well thats not a surprise. try this: feed him nothing but crix. when he's hunrgy enough he'll eat hem. and don't worry if its not right away. as long as his tail is fat, he'll be okay if he skips a day or two. you dont have to deprive him of waxies either. once he starts eating crix agian keep and eye on him. once he's had enough crix and he's not too too hungry any more, drop him a waxie. make sure its only AFTER he eats the crix though. other wise youll be right back where you started.
