dfw report 04.02

Where: Rowlett Creek Park, Rowlett, Texas (mesquite area)
When:2-4:00 pm

First time I brought the camera and missed a golden oppurtunity.
I had heard they were out but never believed it and then I saw him. He was gone before I could stop the bike and whip out the camera. He made no attempt to see what I was doing or show aggression, just took off in a couple hops. I had always thought a bobcat would look diff than this. The grizzly adams sterotype I guess. Anyways he was brown, colored like a squirrel, between 30-60lbs and about the size of a small labrador. On a side note I caught and release a real ham of a rough green snake. He made no attempt to bite and seemed happy to get his picture taken. Anyways heres a pic, and a pic of the absolute best herping vehicle around.
