I know, they're not Boa constrictor, but they are boas none-the-less. Cross another species off my dream list.

Always been on my wish list too! congrats! I love em!!! good luck with them Lee...(thanks for the pics too!)
They were breeding before I picked them up last week & they are breeding now. I'm certainly not expecting any babies, but it would be cool if something did happen.
Also, the old Sipperly male wasn't able to work any majic this season. I'm thinking he should be more settled in next year though so we'll see. I think the female he worked on is about the only one that didn't get prego this season. Kinda a nutty year here.
Take care & good luck with your projects.
I love your collection. Do you have a picture of that Sipperly male? I own quite a few sipp animals (including two 10ft and one 11ft female). He had 34 breeding adults at one point, so his bloodlines are highly variable. I love how classic his animals are.
Take Care,
Kemper
He's still got great color for being around 10 years old & 7' long. Maybe next year.

These are a few Sipps, man I have way too many snakes lol. I didn't even put pics of all the sipps lol.
The second to the last one I sold to Jack Dyer. The Very last one is Dan Mulleary's (not mine, but I wish he was) and this post would not be complete without it!
I like the 3rd & 5th from bottom one. I am kinda biased though as that one reminds me of this girl that I produced in 02 (she doesn't have as nice of a tail though). You've definately got a killer collection. Anything gravid yet?

Lee,
I purchased a suriname male from Bill Cagle that had a very striped tail and lots of purple color. He said that you produced it and I was wondering if you could post pictures of the parents.
Thanks,
Eliot Stone

and always looking for more!
That's the only pic I could find of them on my picturetrail account. They are pretty bad, but you can see their patterns fairly well. E-mail me if you'd like & I should be able to find some better pics for you. Just remember, I am really slow with E-mail.

That one you produced definitely reminds me of that one of mine. You have produced some smokin babies!
The suris have been breeding great. I have witnessed copulation, but no ovulations yet. This is my first season attempting to produce BCC, so we shall see. Also, the females had started cooling before I purchased them. From what Mike@Basically Boas and Gary Sipperly have taught me, most of the BCC's seem to ovulate from Late April all the way through June, here in SoCal. From what Sipperly has layed out to me, they seem to be on the right track. It is not fair seeing all of these litters people are posting, when mine haven't ovulated yet LOL! BCC guys have it ruff
Take Care,
Kemper
Got any gila pics? I can't get enough. I am so jealous, I love those things, and it is impossible to get a permit to own them in California. I can only dream!
Thanks Man!
That female looks really good to me. Maybe 3 or 4 weeks from an ovulation hopefully. Mine started in early late May & I still have 2 left that may ovulate. B.c.c. are kinda funny. My females, & corosponding males, that still havn't ovulated havn't eaten since mid October.
As far as Gila pics, check the Gila forum. I posted some earlier. I've also got a few in my picturetrail albums.
Talk about sensory TKO! *BAMN*
Really does my heart good...I hope he still has the same placid temperment...I see his libido has found its pace,I hope he does good things for you Lee.
