Ghost x ghost from last summer, updated picture...

kirby Apr 15, 2004 07:51 PM

Here is a recent picture of the unusual ghost from last summer. The snake is lighter in real life but I think the picture shows how faded he is and how little black is present. On the back there is a very faint stripe present. He continues to get lighter with each shed. I think the ghosts in general are a very interesting morph and that this male gives an indication of what may come from the ghosts in the future.

I actually prefer there to be color in my boas, but that one is definately an eye catcher. By far the best looking ghost I've ever seen.

VERY COOL LOOKING BOY!!! I have wondered about him from time to time. What a neat look! VERY GHOSTLY, INDEED!!!!

There are those who love lots of bright color and I do too, but I also love the pale, delicate coloring and patterns of the Ghosts. It's the "other" end of the spectrum. I can't wait to breed some of my babies together someday and see how extreme the next generation looks!!!

He is quite dramatic looking in person and very light. I was wondering if someone else, especially you with Mr. Hershey, might produce one like this this year. Your litter looks very good, particularly the striped one. I hope this male will be big enough to breed this coming winter as I am interested to see how much of his appearance is passed on and whether the offspring are even lighter and closer to patternless.

have very minimal pattern........more like a little snip across their backs, but that's it. I just haven't gotten pics of them yet. I found a local photographer who is going tutor me (WOO HOO !!) so maybe I can do justice to these little guys before too long. Anyway, I have some really extreme looking babies this year, but none like your guy. Maybe next year.... I hope to breed my '03 Puzzle male (the one with the wild whacky pattern) to one of my Ghost girls....so maybe something will show up there.

This year's litter has a different father. I wanted to see how different they would look, plus if I keep any and breed them to my other offspring down the road, they won't be full siblings.

That boa rocks!
There are alot of nice ghosts out there, but i must say yours rule!!

It will be neat to see him breed a female ghost.
Then it will get super spooky!!

Take care
