Like a lot of us, I love all reptiles; but I became so obsessed with leopard geckos because they were so easy to breed. (go to paragraph 4 if you don't want to read this whole thing).
When I was a little kid I used to buy two of everything: Various Kingsnakes and Milksnakes, Fat-tailed geckos, jackson's chameleons.....etc. The problem was I was a little kid. I was in like 2nd grade or something. Another problem was that my parents were taking care of all my reptiles so they made me sell everything when I got to the 7th grade. The only reptile I kept was my Florida Kingsnake. I had her for about 10 years, she passed away about two years ago.
When she passed away, my girlfriend bought me two leopard geckos. Now she regrets it because she is taking care of all 18 of my lizards while I'm away at college. Anyway, It was so easy to breed the leos; I didn't have to do anything except take care of them.
Finally, My question: I bought a couple of Arizona Mt. Kings that I plan to breed in a couple years, but I'm wondering how different it is to breed them versus the leopard geckos? I also want to breed Ball Pythons, how different are they from leos?
Do any of you breed snakes? Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
