I had some people e-mail me for a possable trade between this unproven Axanthic and 3 of my c.b.b. green tree pythons. Just wondering what everyone thinks about it. Thanks in advance,
John

If it were me, I'd probably do anything to get rid of GTP's
They just kind of scare me. However, if I truly did value the arboreals I doubt I would trade three of them for an unproven possible axanthic-looking adult. Two, maybe...but not three. That's just what I would do, taking into account my own economic values and preferences. The potential gain by a proven axanthic at a bargain price (do you have another axanthic or a het with which to prove it out?) needs to be offset by the opportunity cost of giving up your GTP's. If that BP turns out to be a normal, it would take you probably 6 clutches just to recoup the value of your pythons. Imagine if you just kept your GTP's and bred them instead... There's my two cents, hopefully it was worth at least THAT much.
