Roaches

stevie16 Apr 15, 2004 10:40 PM

I just got four roaches. (Hissers) I fed one to my wild caught male Nosy Be. He had a little trouble eating it even though it was the smallest. The remaining three are almost three inches long. I think their are two males and one female. When will they start breeding and making babies.

How old is your cham? the rule of thumb is no prey larger than their head is wide. Luna has eaten silkies that are larger, but raoches are rather crispy and have the spurs on their legs.

Anyway, here is an article all about roaches as feeders for chams
