OMG!!!!!!!!!!! i see little drops of water on top of 6 of my eggs...............................

trevorbennett Apr 15, 2004 11:47 PM

hello everyone,

i see little drops of water on my eggs...they are 54 days today...it seems too soon? could they be sweating and getting ready to hatch?

is it within 24 hours of sweating that they start to hatch? or longer?

temps have been 82-84.5 and the last week they've been 83-84.9 because of a heat wave thats going through right now......could the temp change of sped up the last week or 2 of incubation?

also, one of them broke their shell last night....i don't know if it was on purpose or not...but the spot reclosed (yoke dried) by this mornin and he's still moving inside egg.

thanx for all your help.

I don't know for sure but I think your going to have some hatchlings very soon. Congrats!

Mine did the same thing just recently.....Then they stopped sweating and waited another 2 weeks to hatch LOL

That time frame you mentioned is not unheard of, so you may have hatchlings soon.

Congrats! and Good luck with the babies
