i never been herping befor and wood love to go i keep alot of reptiles but just never had anyone to go herping with...Does any of you go herping in south LA near N.O. im in jefferson? any one write back thanks

would be to join the local herp club which is the LGCHS. Some of our members occasionally go to the Bonne Carrie Spillway. If you collect native Louisiana reptiles, you must have a current fishing license. You must also get a permit, which is free, from the Corps of Engineers if you want to catch reptiles in the Spillway. ~Bill~ 504-710-8456.
