egg laying.

Hi

My female cremsicle has done her pre-laying shed and has now been pacing her viv for 5 days now going in and out of the nest box. How long do you reckon she'll keep doing this before she settles down.

Thanks for your advice.
Clem.

Depending on your substrate, I would try to make her laying box a little bit more inviting.... if you're using Sphagnum Moss, increase the amount in teh box. She might not be satisfied with the box you give her and be looking for an alternative. If you're using vermiculite, you might try putting some sphagnum moss on top.

Last year Ruby got very active for a few nights before she layed. As long as she's going in the box and "napping" then I wouldn't worry about her, just make sure the box is inviting and comfy, and you'll probably see eggs any day now.
