He is HERE!!!

ecb Apr 16, 2004 08:42 AM

Tripod is here, in Pennsylvania, From the Far reaches of Texas!
I M thrilled

He is actually smaller than i thought he would be, but FAT and healthy. Pooped as soon as I put him in the tank, that looks normal.
The Vet will give me his ideas about the Leg, it has healed into a T or more of a y with a Small piece of Bone Extending out of the Skin (or so it appears)

He Does use it, and does not Retract from it being touched, so I do not think he is in Pain at all, and he CAN grip with his foot on that leg.

I have taken some pics but they are too big to post (and I did use that infraview to make it smaller, but its not smaller in mb yet, just in pixels)

He is doing well, eating Sparingly (every other day or so) Pooping well (at least I have a Good Specimen for the Vet)
He has a few places he likes to hang out, and he does prefer Height, to Near the bottom of the tank.
He uses his leg, but does not if he does not have to.
and he actually went TO my arm when I reached in the tank the other day. He later jumped off my arm down onto the stairs, and proceded to Climb the stairs (jump up to the lip, climb up, walk to the next up, and Jump again) It was funny to watch.

Time to go back to work, ttyl

Sounds like he is going to fit right in!

Glad you are getting to enjoy him. I feel that the males are better "Pet" material than female when looking at single specimen pet animal. I have some real 'pet' friendly females but it seems to be seen in the males more often, or maybe it's the rescues come to think of it. I have 4 males right now and two of them are little devils!
