Anyone see the $6K Cinnamon Pastels for sale???

EmberBall Jun 14, 2003 10:17 AM

Real deal or real normals? One looks nice, but not sure about the other, looks like a high yellow normal?

They look normal to me.

Combs reptiles Jun 14, 2003 10:55 AM

that Graziani does not deal that way. Some look nicer then others, but they are definitly not normal. They are a co-dom morph. Once the supers are produced i think they will be a hotter item. As adults they are really nice looking.

Combs reptiles Jun 14, 2003 11:02 AM

ive seen in person graziani's. ive seen alot of questionable things from this guy "LOGAN" posting the "cinamons". I would spend my money on the real deal rather then take a chance on something un-proven. Now if graziani had a chance to look at those, and say yes, these are like mine, id be much more confident, but still cautious. Look at the source.

Chris McQuade first produced cinnamon pastels as well as the first super cinnamon. There are at least 3 different lines of cinnamon pastel's out there. Greg just promoted them and the other two lines weren't.

RandyRemington Jun 15, 2003 08:27 AM

Is there a pic of Chris' line's super?

jyohe Jun 14, 2003 12:43 PM

........again...KS classifieds...WOW ....

it is horrible!!! I hate it. Sell a freaking normal as a normal. if it is abnormal sell it for $100 to $200. post moderator doesn't like it when you bash the people that do this. or at least not the way i do it i guess. my threads get deleted with swiftness. you have gatoraide boy selling normals as pastels then auctioning gatoraide soaked balls and that is cool by kingsnake. you have burger king there selling normals as possibly being pastels for $400 a piece, and thinks that is cool because he doesn't say they are pastels for sure. makes me sick. scum of the earth if you ask me. wish all people that post ridiculous things got banned. what morons. all right i am getting angry. gotta go feed my normal ball pythons and relax. they are fun snakes.

JaredHorenstein Jun 14, 2003 08:29 PM

The animals that David has posted as cinnamons are real....they are a different line but still the same trait....just like all the different breeders lines of pastels that are all still the same trait.

I have done business with David, and I have nothing bad to say about him. He honestly represents what he sells, and if you would take a minute to talk to him VIA THE TELEPHPONE and not thru emails( things get out of hand on the internet...) you'd understand he knows his stuff.

Oh, and get ready for the super

He may "know his stuff" in your opinion, but those snakes are the most overpriced generic looking balls i`ve ever seen.I find the cinnamon pastel barely distinguishable from normals and cant see why anyone would pay that kind of money for them. With all the beautiful ball morphs out there, i can find a much better utilization for $6000. I think it must be speculations that the supers will be, well super.

I have not posted alot on here but I have seen a trend as of lately. Why is it that no one can list on KS without everyone else bashing them unless their last name is Barker, or Davis or any of the other big name breeders. I fully understand that they are the best in this business and I have alot of respect for them. My personal opinion is that if you have not see the animal in person (we all know that pics do not do justice) then don't bash. Everytime I see a thread like this I just think of another "Litte guy" getting slammed out of the starting gate. I have not done business with this individual nor have I seen these snake in person. (hense why I have not past judgement on them) I see nothing wrong with letting everyone know of a scam (the "Red Balls" if it is that obvious but when you sit here and say that if a "big name breeder" would come out and say they look like theirs'. Come guys/gals, if you don't have first hand knowledge(seen the animals) then don't pass judgement. Don't know, just my 2 cents on the whole bashing thing. I don't mean to offend anyone with this just venting I guess.

thanx for the time
another little guy

grimdog Jun 15, 2003 06:12 AM

I don't know about the cinamon pastels. They seem pretty normal, but the ones from the big names do also to me at least. My general beef are people saying they have imported snakes that look just like pastels and just may prove to be genetic. When they know they aren't and take some poor fools money. That will turn many people off from the little guy in a big way. because these people will think all the little guys are scam artists. When some of us work really hard and value honesty. I just wish that people that had what were normals maybe even pretty normals would sell them as that and stop trying to make ten times what they are worth. Just my two cents. Oh and I am all for stopping the importing of thousands upon thousands of babies. Because soo many probably die and we are basically raping africa.

I think alot of the what you call "bashing" is brought upon by the sickening downward spiral of the BP "little guy" market. Obviously SK, BHB Ent., VPI, Mark S. Bell, Nerd, RDR, etc...have earned their place in the BP industry, nobody would nor should "bash" them. Although I agree some people may be quick to jump the gun, you have to admit there has been some pretty pathetic attempts at trying to sell normal BP's as something more, so to speak. Now, I'm not saying these Cinnamons fall in that category, I'll take Jared's word on these, and I have seen some very nice stuff offered by Logan's so in my book they're true. I must say Brian & Lori (BHB Ent.) and Graziani have the sweetest I've ever seen, hands down. I was lucky enough to get some hands-on quality time with one of Brian's and I was awestruck!! Truly breathtaking animals in person. I think capturing some of these animals true coloration can be tricky if not impossible without proper lighting, etc...and although the pattern on these are not as extreme (more normal) than the other line's, I'm impressed by them nonetheless.

Most of these "Super Weird Orange Mega Blushing Pastel like Ringer Melting Black Back Broken High Yellow Gold Striped Ghostish Jungle Goblins" are just $6.00 normals right now, that may stand out a little from the crowd but do not impress me whatsoever. You can by a 100 lot (already picked over even) and pick out 6-10 of those animals easily. You'll have the same amount of cash invested, and have 90 more animals to pick something "cool" out about them too!! Same old thing, every year...

Odd Balls
Fancy Balls

Those to me are acceptable terms for the unproven or proven not to be genetic, somewhat unique BP's available today. Sadly only a few chose to use them. But they don't have to "name it" something to try to sell it either.

Just my 2 cents...
