While I think that most people associate the common name "Mexican bull snake" with deppei deppei, here's a pic of an '02 deppei jani.........more commonly called a Northern Mexican pine snake. I bred this handsome boy back to his mother this year(I recommend waiting for the 3rd year for females!), and I am hopeful of starting a brilliant orange line from this union. This pic was taken awhile back. By his third year, he should be one helluva snake. He's already 55" with his second birthday coming up on 8-1-04. I don't know why folks get so googoo over those red bulls, when you can have these guys in your display cage.........heheheh........Steve G.
