Does anyone take pics with an SLRD camera???

RedQuake Apr 16, 2004 12:57 PM

I think they are the coolest cameras out there. Being able to interchange the lenses is neat.

Anyone here use them? I'd like to see what the pics come out like

Hi

I do a lot of nature photography with a digital SLR and you can produce magazine cover material with them. I use a Canon D30 and mainly shoot with a Canon 600mm f/4 - I do mostly bird photography. Hey, they're related to reptiles The Canon digital rebel is a great digital SLR for the money - $899.

Take a look at my gallery and see what you think:

Hi,

Thats really cool!!!!!!!! I saw the Canon D30 while i was at the photo place. Cool camera. There are guys coming from Minolta tomorrow to be at the store but i'm working so i wont be able to talk to them. The man i was talking to said to call him and he'd make sure to get the info i wanted. I have a Minolta SLR so i might as well get the digital version of that camera and be able to use my lens'.

This camera is wonderful, i was able to get a still of a hummingbird in perfect focus (wings too) and yes i've taken great pics of my geckos with it. The problem is having rolls of film developed every few days isn't cost effective and my scanner sucks so i lose most of the detail and colour once its on the computer.

Thanks for the input. Its nice getting info from people and i really do appreciate it

Those are AWESOME pics!!!!!!! That camera is really worth the money to produce images like that. I think i'll start another fund, the camera fund, and get one of those....i can't imagine the images i'll be able to get of my leos...

Whats it like in darker conditions?
