i hate peta, too. i used to work at an animal lab facility, and peta was our worst enemy. thing is, i respect peoples opinions about controversial issues, i just disagree with extremists. all of them.

for or against euthanasia, abortion, any religion, feminism, lab animals, dairy cows...etc...fine with me...i'm sure everyone has their reasons...i'll even listen to them. i enjoy a nice debate. however; violence and destruction, looting and pillaging, kidnapping and murder...even distasteful, obscene, and entirely offensive ads such as the ones peta did comparing cooped chickens with holocaust victims are just not the way to be. i think that's just wrong.

everytime these animal rights activists destroy documents and release the animals in a lab environment they set back years of research that will just need to be replaced. more rats will be ordered and used. these animals are not pets--they are bred specifically for what they are used for. many have immunodeficiencies, many are being treated with experimental drugs (cure for cancer, anyone?) and many just have bad temperments, among other things.

i love all animals, and when i worked there i was taught the correct husbandry for the ones i worked with, and we were humane and made sure that they were all comfortable and well taken care of.

No matter what laws are brought into place or how much PETA fights i'm not going to allow anyone to take away my geckos!!!

What would they do with them all anyways?????? I have 14, others have more than 40. I doubt they will properly care for that many leos, not even mentioning the millions of other lizards out there!!!!!
