Why breed something that doesn't occur naturally? It's funny people are putting 2 species from different parts of the world together. Personally I hate and will always hate mutts, hybrids, anything not pure! It's sad, just as with *Hog* Island Boas. Not many pure specimens out there anymore, and people sell crosses as if they were pure. Not saying that some aren't very nice looking just saying I'd never own any. I guess I'd leave alone what was put on earth because it was put there for a reason the way it was. Anyways enough of me going on it's all personal opinion.

I'm beginning to think the 'purity' of the hogg island was a bit of a myth in the first place. There, I said it. I wouldn't say it on the Boa forum because I'd probably be blacklisted or something.

Anyway, I personally don't see the draw of hybrids, but I just don't see a big threat to captive gene pools from the blood balls. They're just too rare. I just have too many other things to get really angry over. Although if bloods end up turning into diamond pythons, I'm giving up completely.

(p.s. they ARE kinda neat looking)
(p.p.s. i have no idea how much they'd cost. probably a couple thousand dollars, only on account of rarity)

..I'm not stating any opinions but I've only seen em for sale once a few years ago and I think they were around $10,000..
