Renegade crickets

Last night i feed my gecko as usual, he is still a little pig...But the last one , he didnt eat it. I try to capture the lucky crix, but my gecko freak out seing my hand running after that crix, lol. So i stop, this morning, no crix in sight. He probably ate it during the night. Is it really dangerous to leave a crix or two roaming ? Once i had anoles eaten by crix left uncheck, but i was young and my anoles were very sick and probably dead before they got chewed on. But can crix be dangerous to a healthy gecko ?

If you decide to leave a few crickets in overnight, then put some cricket food in the tank for them to eat.
